Honoured, thrilled, proud, overwhelmed, humbled, here are some of the feelings I have been experiencing the last few days.
The Institute of Director awards recognise unsung heroes and heroines from all areas of the economy – private, public and third sectors. And I have the great honored to have been rewarded Director of the year 2014 for Small Organisation, last Friday; what the judges said about me was just amazing: “Claire’s hard work, determination and imaginative entrepreneurship have seen her build an organisation that is well used and respected by her clients. She is the self-styled “Queen Bee” of Mystery Shopping and has exported her services to multiple jurisdictions.“
Steve Jobs says: ‘the only way to do great work is to love what you do, if you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.’
Well, I am so lucky to say I love what I do and the last 5 years has been such an incredible journey, I am also so lucky to have a team of Mystery Shoppers which are just as passionate as me about Customer Service and helping businesses to improve their delivery of Customer Service and ultimately the service level on our islands.
It is so rewarding to be working alongside some committed Customer focused businesses which are always looking at providing the best service and are investing to improve their employees’ customer service performances.
So, I thank the judges for giving me this award and would like to share it with my team, my suppliers, my clients and all those who have supported me during the last 5 years.
